Danish language exams

At Language Center Aalborg, you can take the four final Danish language exams. These exams provide documentation of your ability to understand and use Danish.

The four Danish language exams

Language Center Aalborg offers four different final Danish exams:

  • Exam in Danish 1 (PD1)
  • Exam in Danish 2 (PD2)
  • Exam in Danish 3 (PD3)
  • The Study Test (SP)

These Danish exams provide documentation of your ability to understand and use Danish. This documentation can, for example, be used when applying for a residence permit, citizenship, or admission to educational programmes that require a passed Danish exam.

Each exam consists of a written and an oral component. The written part includes both a reading comprehension test and a written production test. The Danish exams are held twice a year (in May/June and November/December). The exams are conducted as the final tests in the three Danish language education programmes.

Read more about Danish and the exams on the Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration's website.

Here, you can find descriptions of the exam content, academic requirements, exam dates, and registration deadlines.
