You sign up for classes on our website.
If you wish to accept the offer of free Danish Education, but want to postpone your start, you must contact Sprogcenter Aalborg within 2 months of receiving the referral.
You can register on the website of sprogcenter Aalborg by opening the link Sign up for tuition. Remember to attach your residence permit.
No, the deposit must be paid in full before tuition starts.
If you want to stop attending classes, you must send us an email with your bank account number. If your bank is a foreign bank, you must provide IBAN and Swift numbers as well.
When you have paid the deposit, you will receive a notification with a start date for your classes within one to four weeks.

If you wish to take a break for more than 3 weeks, you will be withdrawn from your class. Contact Aalborg Kommune to get a new referral for Danish Education, once you are ready to continue your Danish classes. Please notice that you are not guaranteed a spot in your former class.
The voucher system has been discontinued as of July 1st, 2022.
Transitional rules:
Students who have used all of their vouchers within 5 years of receiving their first referral to Danish classes forfeit their right to Danish education.
Students who are currently in a module "paid for" by a voucher can finish the module as well as the modules remaining of their Danish Education. However, they must do so within the time limit set for each module with respect to reimbursement of the deposit.
Students who have passed a final Danish exam (Danish Exam 1, 2 or 3) are not entitled to Danish Education.
Learning a foreign language comes easily to some people whereas others find it very difficult. Thus, some students will be able to complete a full Danish Education in 1½ years, while others may need as much as 3 years or more.
A firm commitment to attendance, homework, and actively seeking out practice opportunities, will considerably shorten the time needed to learn the language.
